We all enter into this world with an inborn skill or talent that leads our way towards the future. And we think now you know yours. It’s to dedicate your life to helping out mankind, may they be rich or poor, in every condition. You need to be utterly proud of yourself and we are sure your family and friends would be too. You are finally on the path of becoming a doctor, becoming what you always dreamed of and have achieved for what you studied day and night. Your moment is finally here and its time you do something for the betterment of humanity.
Therefore, you need to study even harder, and medical studies get tougher and tougher with time. It won’t be the same just like in school days. College study is way tougher and gets mismanaged very easily. Still, no need to worry! We are here to help you out. Just follow our advice so you can make your life through the college much easier.
Time Management:
Managing your time is the most crucial aspect when it comes to studying especially in the medical field.
Develop a timetable:
You need to make a timetable for your studies just like the one you used to have at school time. Note down all the dates of exams or any quizzes and mark down the syllabus and distribute it into amounts that are easy for you to cover daily. Keep track of what you have studied and what’s left in that time table. Following this time table will ease your preparation for final examination when it comes through.
Avoid detractions:
When you sit down to study, you need to turn off all those electronic gadgets, log out of all social media accounts because every time you get a notification or a beat sound, you will get distracted and open the mobile to see what it is and while you are doing that, your studying time gets wasted.
Set your priorities:
You need to efficiently allocate time to all of your subjects. You cannot go on studying only one subject daily. In this way, you are compiling everything else into a huge mountain of syllabus under which you will eventually get stuck down. Decide how to complete all the required assignments and quizzes. This advanced planning will help you in knowing how much time it takes to get the tasks done and how much time to give to such things and how to carry them out more effectively and efficiently next time.
Make notes:
Try to attend all the classes and take notes of everything in your way because it helps you understand the lecture better whenever you open them again. Making notes help you save time whenever you have to study for any exams because you will know what’s relevant and what’s not.
Ask for help:
If you ever face any hindrance in understanding any lecture, don’t hesitate in asking for help. You can always join study groups or ask your lecturers for help.
Place and time:
Every student has a specific place in the room and a specific time of the day when they are most productive. Find yours and stick to it when you decide to study. When you are in your study zone, then you can learn everything smoothly and quickly.
Self-Study:
Self-study can be proven as a reliable strategy. It is quite different and more efficient than regular teaching. It broadens a student’s thinking ability and makes learning more interesting. They study things without any pressure or hesitation because when they do, they are the teachers and they are also the students. They as teachers teach themselves way better and gain the confidence that they can do anything if they believe in themselves. Through self-study, students develop work ethics and a sense of responsibility because they rely on themselves for learning. Through self-study, you learn things in your language and words and understand things more clearly. Self-study is a vital aspect when studying so don’t forget to make use of it.
Dr.Najeeb’s lectures:
If you think any of the above-mentioned advice does not apply to you and you still find it difficult to carry out the task and make notes or study for exams then don’t need to worry anymore. If you are stuck in such a crisis, we are here to help you in the best way possible and the most reliable solution we got for you is Dr. Najeeb’s lectures. Give yourself some time alone, make peace with your mind and body, and help yourself relax from all the stresses of your studies which can be very harmful to your mind.
