Even the most intelligent and hardworking people sometimes get frustrated and tangled in all the work along with extra-curricular activities. So to give you a heads up and a few guidelines, on how to deal with basic issues that a student may face in a medical college, are listed below:
Form a Tight-Knit Circle
What a lot of people don’t tell you is that medical school sometimes means having to teach yourself. Reach out and form connections with your peers because this will help you in the future if you’re ever stuck with a particular lecture. Having a group of people you’re close to help in various other aspects of school such as choosing electives, how to prep for residential interviews, etc. Apart from that, making friends can help ensure that you maintain a social life.
Study Hard But Not Too Hard
Give yourself a break, take a breather, and find hobbies or interests outside of your textbooks. Overloading your brain and overworking yourself is not a good idea.
Dr. Najeeb Lectures
Every student has been through those times where you truly have to teach yourself due to various reasons. Time clashes, bad delivery from the lecturer, inability to understand a topic sufficiently, etc. A super-easy way to overcome this hurdle is to watch Dr. Najeeb Lectures which are packed with hand-drawn illustrations and cover each topic very thoroughly. They are the world’s most popular medical lectures which cover all the topics of Gross Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Embryology, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology. You can also have lifetime access to all these lectures and if you download their app you can listen to these lectures wherever, whenever.
Stay Focused
It’s hard to keep yourself on track when the pressure gets to you but keep a clear mind and you’ll do great. Make responsible decisions that will help pave your way to success. Be persistent towards your pursuit for knowledge. Persevere through the hard times and you’ll come out on top.
Long Term Learning
You shouldn’t focus on flash memorizing material but focus on developing ways to retain information for the long run as most subject matter is repeated.
Hopefully, all these tips will help you ease into college life and make it a bit better as well.
PG Bond Information
