Eligibility Criteria:

• Firstly, candidates should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year UG (MBBS) Course.

Undergraduate:

MBBS, UG, & Diploma (Nursing)

• The candidate should have passed Class 12^th/equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with inimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
• For Diploma in Nursing, candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks in PCB with English as a compulsory language subject.
• Candidates must qualify one of the following entrance test- NEET.

Postgraduate:

MD, MS, & PG Diploma:

• Candidates seeking admission to 3-year Full-time MS/MD Program and PG Diploma shall possess MBBS degree recognized by MCI and must have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship.
• Candidates must complete a one-year internship training by March 31 of the admission year to be eligible.
• Candidates should be registered under Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Candidates having an MBBS degree from a foreign University are considered ineligible for NEET-PG admission process.

MD & M.Ch:

• Candidates seeking admission to 3-year Full-time DM shall possess an MD degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or provisional pass certificate or equivalent.
• Candidates seeking admission to 3-year Full-time M.Ch shall possess MS degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or provisional pass certificate or equivalent.
• Each candidate must possess the degree the latest by July 15 of the admission year.

M.Sc. & Ph.D.:

• The candidate should have passed B.Sc./equivalent from a recognized board/university for M.Sc.

Admission Process:

The application form can be obtained on any working day from the Revenue Section of the Dean, B.Y.L. Nair Ch. Hospital, Mumbai Central, MUMBAI on weekdays.
• The cost of application form is INR 330 + 6% VAT or GST for the general category and INR 220 + 6% VAT or GST for reserved category.
• The filled-in applications must reach the college by registered post or hand.

Entrance Exam (NEET):

Once the candidate is eligible for applying in any of the degree programs mentioned above, they have to further clear an exam called National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The entrance examination for UG Courses is NEET-UG and NEET-PG for PG Courses. NEET-SS is the single-window entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admissions into DM/M.Ch courses.

After the NEET examination takes place, a merit list is prepared and students are chosen according to their merit number. However, if two or more students have equal scores in NEET, preference will be given to

1.    Managing Time:

Time is the key to your success and of course, failure. If you have a hold of your time, youre going to be successful no matter what. We do not specifically talking about a medical college but if you talk about any university, managing time is really important to survive there. If youre going to get into all this stuff of managing your time from the very start, medical college will be comparatively easy for you because youre already a champ but the results are going to be opposite if youre not going to manage your time.

Now, the question is how to manage time? Firstly, take notes of everything from day one. Yes, it helps a lot. Take notes in the classes, how is everything going to work, the processes, and procedures, etc. Once you know how things work at your campus, make a schedule for them assigning most of the time to the most important tasks and try to complete each task within the timeframe provided. This will help you be on track and make things easier for you.

As you have taken notes and assigned time to each task, it was more of a generalized schedule. Time to be a little more specific.
